Having sex with a child is wrong. Pure and simple.

 

AUG 29 ― I am all for personal freedoms but when it comes to children and sex, well... all bets are off.

Chuah Guan Jiu was 21 when he had sex with a 12-year-old girl. But the judge gave him a break because he did not have a criminal record, is not well educated and the sex was consensual.

So what is the message here? If you have never committed an offence before and did not go to college, you are “poor thing, give chance”? Come on.

If this were a drug or firearms offence, the same “considerations” would not be given.
