Shopper finds copies of 'Datuk T' sex video on car

The sex video of a man purported to be Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim has now made its way to shopping complexes, with one shopper claiming to have received it while at a mall in Bukit Tinggi, Klang, on Saturday night.

In his police report lodged at the Ampang Jaya police district headquarters yesterday, Mohd Fodzil Abu Talib said he found six compact discs - believed to contain copies of the sex video - on his car windshield at the mall's parking lot around 8pm.

NONE"All the CDs had the title 'Alamak, kantoi' (Oh no, busted) and a photo of an Omega watch, Anwar, (wife and PKR president) Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and (daughter and PKR vice-president) Nurul Izzah Anwar," he said in the report.

The incident follows reports that copies of the sex video had recently been mailed directly to village chiefs in Selangor.

Mohd Fodzil, who is also a PKR Youth member for the Ampang division, was accompanied by the division chief Hamsah Djabir, who said the incidents raise many questions about the authorities' ability to probe the matter.

"How did a piece of evidence in a case that is still under investigation slip to irresponsible parties, so much so that it is being distributed physically and on the Internet?" he asked at a press statement later.

azlan'Datuk T' -a trio comprising businessperson Shazryl Eskay Abdullah, former Malacca chief minister Rahim Thamby Chik and then Perkasa treasurer Shuib Lazim - had first screened the video in March.

They told journalists that they had surrendered the only copy of the video to the police.

The police have said that the investigation against the trio for owning and distributing pornographic material is now at its tail end.
