Selangor PKR Youth will hold a rally on Monday July 23 to urge Menteri
Besar Khalid Ibrahim to take over the operations of state water
concessionaire Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas).
“We
rise today on the realisation that Syabas ... has failed to provide
good management (over water resources) and service to the people of
Selangor.
“In this respect PKR Youth will hand a memorandum to
protest Syabas’s water rationing exercise as excessive, and urge the
state government take over the operations of Syabas,” said Selangor PKR
Youth chief Azmizam Zaman Huri.
Azmizam in a statement today said
their aim is to pressure the water concessionaire to surrender its
operations to the state, and to stop“playing games” that give hardship
to the people, particularly in this holy month of Ramadan.
He
urged Selangorians to join their ‘Protesting Syabas’ Failure’ on Monday
at 12pm, outside Wisma Rozali in Shah Alam Section 13.
Wisma
Rozali is the headquarters of Syabas’ holding company Puncak Niaga
Puncak Niaga Holdings Berhad, whose executive chairperson is Rozali
Ismail.
Pray hard that the is no deadlock and there is enough water for the commoners; if there is one, non-partisan by standers will suffer due to people playing politics.
ReplyDeleteAs Christians, you should be more impartial and ensure that we pray hard that the water issue resolved amicably and not through your participation.
BTW, I hope you do not remove this comment.
