As Felda Global Venture Holdings (FGV)'s public listing looms, PAS-linked NGO Anak will hold a last minute demonstration to disuade the authorities from following through.

NONEAt a press conference today, Anak president Mazlan Aliman announced that this organisation was now in "radical campaigning mode" since the authorities have cold shouldered them.

He said Anak and its 50 NGO allies aims to mobilise 20,000 people.
A date and time for the venue has yet to be announced.

"After six-month, the authorities have yet to respond to us. We have no choice but to declare war against them.

"We will use the remaining three weeks to embark on a series on radical campaigns," he said.

Mazlan, who is also the PAS center committee member, said the protest will be similar to the Bersih rallies for clean and fair election.

The NGO also announced the decision to issue Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak a letter demanding an apology from him for labelling those who opposed the FGVH listing as "haram jadah" (illegitimate children).

Mazlan said they will gather outside the Putrajaya official residence of the prime minister after the next week's Friday prayers to submit the notice which also demand that he retract his statement.

He added that if Najib does not respond, Anak will  institute legal action against him.
Meanwhile, Mazlan also blasted Najib for sidestepping proper procedures when launching the FGVH's prospectus last week.

He claimed that the Security Commission has yet to make a decision on the listing application by FGVH, and hence the premier's action was in breach of the laws.

"Our lawyers are studying the case. We will not be hesitant to take legal action against FGVH and the SC for failing act professionally," he said.
