Jati promises murtad video in fortnight

Why another fortnight to produce the proof? A doctored video again?
Getting help from UMNO to do one? Not surprising as UMNO are
expert in such matter? Why not make police report? - 1Christians

Hasan Ali has promised that the video he claims is proof that there are efforts to convert Muslims in the country will be aired in two weeks.

NONEThe president of the pressure group Melayu Jalur Tiga (Jati) said at present there were “final processes” needed before the said video could be aired.

Amongst these were to protect the identities of the “victims” who had come forward with a confession, said the former Selangor exco and sacked PAS leader

“Who can guarantee their safety? If there were, there would be no problem to air today,” he said.
During Jati’s launch last month, Hasan claimed he had video proof of proselytisation, in the form of a recording of a husband and wife team.

He alleged that the video raised questions about activities of certain churches, some covert but some even in broad daylight.

Speaking at a press conference at his home in Kuala Lumpur today, Hasan added that he would give the video to anyone who wanted it.

'No police report necessary'

Hasan however said he would not lodge a police report on the matter.

“If we make a police report, the names of the parties involved will be exposed when there is an investigation. The question of protecting our faith does not reach that level,” he said.

However when asked to comment on the Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and Taoism’s (MCCBCHST) challenge to show proof of his incessant allegations, or quiet down, he replied, “How can I keep quiet? I’m a missionary!”

NONEDefending his stand, he added that there are 50 cases under observation at the moment.

He also found time to slam Selangor Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim for saying his allegations were causing anxiety within society.

“As an MB who is now holding the Islamic affairs portfolio, if there are elements of proselytisation he should take it seriously, instead of questioning what others are doing,” he said.

During Selangor religious authorities Jais' raid on the DUMC church (right) in Petaling Jaya last year without a warrant, Hasan had justified the actions saying there was evidence of proselytisation.

However the protracted and acrimonious affair concluded with the Selangor Sultan saying no action would be taken as there was “insufficient evidence”. Meanwhile the 12 so-called victims of the DUMC proselytisation have denied the allegations.
